August Challenge!

August brings us the dog days of summer. All we can think about is cooling off and hanging out by the pool. Mixing kids and water is a guaranteed recipe for happiness. So that will be the theme for this month's Kellybell Designs August Blog Challenge called "Wet and Wild".
Here's all the rules and instructions to play:
  • Scrap some Disney water fun. This can be photos from a Disney cruise or water park, a water ride like Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids, swimming in the resort pools, splashing in the squirting fountains, boat rides from the resort, waterfalls from Jungle Cruise, squirting Tikis in Adventureland, standing in front of the Epcot fountains, even photos in the rain. Be creative here!
  • Follow these 3 instructions:
    • Use at least 4 photos
    • Include some waves or splashes (a wavy or curvy border, ocean waves, water drops)
    • Use at least one blue paper
  • Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer). You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
  • Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST August 31th
Two winners will be selected and announced the first week of September. One winner will be chosen at random so all participants have a chance to win. The second winner will be selected as the most outstanding layout. Both winners will receive a gift certificate to Kellybell Designs store.

Kelly has lots of kits to choose from to scrap your layout for this challenge. You might choose from Beachy Keen, City of Tomorrow, Just Keep Swimming, Kiss The Girl, Land Of Adventure, Sail Away With Me, Water and Ice, Where Dreams Set Sail.

Originally created by Walt Disney and his team of Imagineers, this ride was a tribute to the children of the world at the UNICEF pavilion at the 1964/65 World's Fair. This week we are all feeling a little bit more patriotic. For those of us here in the United States, it was a time to celebrate our independence on the Fourth of July. With bold colors of red, white and blue and lots of flag waving, this holiday is filled with family celebrations, parades, marches, fireworks, picnics and lots of outdoor fun. At Disney, you can find your fill of red, white and blue in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom or at Epcot in the United States country inside the World Showcase. Your patriotism can soar with the release of Kellybell's latest collection called ....

Kelly's included 2 alphas for you. One is a a red, white and blue flag print and the other is a classic gold.

Kelly went a little crazy creating lots of word art titles for you. Look at all these amazing titles to use for Liberty Square and the American Adventure in Epcot. Isn't the mix of the 2 alphas fabulous?
